| Good evening.
Free Agency is officially on.
Remember, FA bids are only accepted via the client, by uploading your line file with your FA offers included. Bids done on the portal are not valid.
If you are bidding on RFA's, please consult the Holy Grail, to make sure you have the necessary compensatory picks, should the original GM decline to match. Any bids made when you do not have the picks are automatically invalidated.
When we switched to the preseason, all players ages seemed to drop off. I am going to have Gar have a look at this, and i hope to have it rectifiied ASAP

| How is RFA/UFA determined? Seems like a few guys on the RFA list should actually be UFAs?
Never mind...user error.

| Age. If a player is 24 and under, he is considered RFA. 25 and over, UFA | |

| GM's;
There seems to be confusion.
When bidding on an RFA, you must: Have the appropriate picks for the bid (Your own picks) Once you have placed your offer, your picks are basically in pergatory until the offer is matched or resolved. So if you have picks locked into an RFA bid, you can't use those picks for other bids.
Any double bids made, will be deemed invalid.

| Right but it does not say what year. If I have my 1st-5th from this yr to purgatory, where does it say I cannot offer up the next yr picks to the second RFA I am trying to sign? That is having all of my own picks. And when it says you must give up 2 1sts, no one has two of their own 1sts in the same yr so that must open up the debate about the following yr. Just saying. | |

| If it says two 1st. Then it'd yours that year and yours the next yeaR. RFA is always that years picks lol

| Not really trying to be a dick but....... X. RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS:
RFA's during the RFA period prior to UFA period are open for bidding by any GM, but the GM with the players rights has the option to resign the player at a 10% discount on the highest/longest bid. Dollar amount trumps term, but in the case of an equal dollar amount, the longest term wins.
Compensation for signing an RFA is as follows: Amount Compensation Due $863,156 or less None $863,156 - $1,307,812 3rd round pick $1,307,812 - $2,615,625 2nd round pick $2,615,623 - $3,923,437 1st and 3rd round pick
$3,923,437 - $5,231,249 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick $5,231,249 - $6,539,062 Two 1st's, one 2nd, one 3rd round pick $6,539,062 or more Two 1st's, two 2nds, two 3rd round pick
These picks MUST be your own. This means you cannot even bid should you not have the prerequisite picks for compensation. Should you want to bid on a player please create ONE THREAD inside the RFA thread using the format PLAYER NAME RFA BID, and any subsequent bids should be placed there by whomever chooses to bid. All bids are FINAL, so do not bid if you are not serious about your bid, or do not have the proper compensation for your bid amount. Once the RFA period is over on Friday Sept 25, The UFA period will begin. Any RFA player that are not signed, becomes a UFA.
Where does it say the yr of the pick?
